Are the games in English?
Yes! All products featured in the English store are in English. Some are in both English and
French, which explains why you may see French in some photos.

Are version 1 and version 2 of Heroes of Normandie compatible?
Yes, absolutely, which means that the version 1 expansions offered on the site can be used
with the version 2 rules.

What are the changes between version 1 and version 2 of the Heroes of Normandie
rules?
The rules have been rewritten and revised to make them easier to play. The only major change
concerns the action cards. In version 2, the deck of cards is fixed at 50 cards (no need to build
your deck before playing) and offers additional gameplay options. You can play with version 1 of
the game using these new action card decks available for purchase. Furthermore, aviation and
artillery are no longer managed by cards, but by units placed on the game board.

What is the Rules Compendium?
The Rules Compendium brings together in a single collection the rules for the three Heroes
System games (Heroes of Normandie, Heroes of Stalingrad, and Shadows over Normandie).
These rules are very similar to version 2, but their main advantage is that they offer specific
rules (special abilities, equipment, etc.) for the expansions released for version 1 of Heroes of
Normandie and other games (HoS, SoN). It also offers a 50-page artbook and three scenarios
for the Civilians under Fire expansion. A good addition if you want to delve deeper into the
game or if you own the version 1 expansions.

Some products indicate that you must download the rules from the Devil Pig Games
website, but it is no longer online. How can I deal with this?
There is an active community of game players (notably on BoardGameGeek and Facebook)
who have gathered all the elements previously available on the Devil Pig Games website.

to you as soon as possible.
Please note that we will not ship anything for games ordered from other sites and/or before this
clearance sale. We only handle copies of the games we sell.

Why are the shipping costs so high?
The base games and large expansion boxes contain almost exclusively cardboard boards. Each
weighs approximately 2.5 kg (approximately 4.41 lbs). Shipping prices have been negotiated
and are billed to you without any margin on our part. If your order exceeds 25 kgs, we will have
to prepare a second package. And yes, shipping isn’t free.

Will there be customs fees?
Regarding tariffs for US customers, this is not an easy matter. We have decided to lower our
prices for players around the world as much as we could. But it sadly comes with the fact that
we won’t be able to subside US tariffs on our end.
As Devil Pig Games’ Heroes series was manufactured in China, there is a possibility for a US
customer of having to pay fees when receiving the parcel.
We will not refund these.
Please take it into account if you are buying from the USA and receiving the games there.
