Heroes of Normandie v2 – Core Box

The core box of the Big Red One Edition, the second edition of the Heroes of Normandie game. This box allows two players to compete in epic scenarios pitting the 1st US Infantry Division (the famous Big Red One) against the German 2nd Panzer Division.

Note: The first edition elements of the game is compatible with this new version.

Summer 1944. The sun shines on the Normandy countryside. A gentle breeze, fields of vibrant flowers, and in the background, the haunting staccato of machine gun fire. In these landscapes typical of the French countryside, thousands of men are preparing to fight. Heroes will emerge from the battlefield, the same heroes seen in Hollywood war films of the golden age. This is the inspiration for Heroes of Normandie and what the game offers: explosive and thrilling skirmishes, acts of bravery that will remain etched in the history books, and the opportunity to relive some of the great pages of our history through gameplay.

A miniatures game without miniatures, Heroes of Normandie is a strategy game about World War II, inspired by Hollywood war films. It pits two players and two armies against each other, with the Germans on one side and the Americans on the other. Players use order tokens to determine initiative and bluff. While the result of a six-sided die, modified by various factors, helps resolve battles, Action cards spice things up. Secretly plan your attacks and surprise your opponent, counter the enemy’s strategy to gain the upper hand, and deploy your units to conquer objectives on the map!
